ECDD Technical summary
The committee was of the opinion, first, that there is insufficient evidence to permit a decision on the addiction-producing properties of this substance, secondly, that in the absence of specific evidence to the contrary it is considered probable that the substance is convertible to morphine, and that in any case as an ether of morphine (other than methylmorphine and ethylmorphine) morpholylethylmorphine (3-morpholinoethylmorphine) is by definition in subgroup b of Group I of the 1931 Convention.
